We know it is important to you to keep your teeth healthy and to save your natural teeth for as long as possible. No matter what condition your teeth are in, right now is the best time to begin taking care of them. We can help, and it’s easier than you think.
Even if you have been afraid to visit the dentist, please come and see us. Dr. Gerald Regni, Jr. has been serving patients in the Philadelphia area for more than 23 years, and has helped more than 10,000 patients protect, improve and preserve their natural teeth. He will give you a very careful full evaluation and help you to take care of and preserve your teeth and your health, one step at a time.
Dr. Regni has perfected “painless” dentistry. After fixing 2 cavities (one rather large), I felt no pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. It was the first pleasurable dental experience I’ve encountered.
At our office, we complete a comprehensive exam when you schedule a dental checkup in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This includes digital X-rays and a full clinical exam, including an oral exam, a head and neck exam, and a complete periodontal exam. New patients can also include a thorough teeth cleaning for only $99—a $340 value.
Dr. Gerald Regni, Jr. has a staff of experienced, excellent dental hygienists who know how to clean your teeth gently and very thoroughly.
Good oral hygiene is important to prevent a variety of dental and medical problems. Recent research has shown that the bacteria present in gum disease are also found in the plaques clogging arteries in people with heart disease and intestinal disorders.
Therefore, a good professional cleaning is essential not only for the health of your teeth, but also for your general wellbeing.
X-rays at our office are fast, thorough and very low risk. At every phase of treatment in which X-rays are needed, we use the latest in digital technology to help give you rapid, accurate diagnostic results with much less radiation than conventional X-rays.
Because they are computerized, the digital X-rays utilize sensors rather than film. Sensors require much less radiation to yield an image. This means that our patients experience only a very low level of radiation when they come to our office.
The sensors are also smaller and more comfortable, making the process of taking X-rays easier, more efficient and far more comfortable, even for gaggers and children.
We Care About Our Patients and Make Them Feel Comfortable

Healthy teeth and gums mean much more than a pretty smile. According to recent research, poor oral health and serious health problems such as cardiovascular illness often go hand in hand.
More than half of all adults age 35 and older have the early stages of periodontal (gum) disease. Three out of four adults are eventually affected by it. Periodontal disease is the primary cause of lost teeth after age 35. But the good news is that there are steps you can take to prevent periodontal disease in your mouth. If caught in its early stages, gum disease can be reversed.
At Dr. Gerald Regni, Jr.’s office, we do a thorough exam and X-rays to determine the extent of treatment that your gums require and then determine a treatment plan that will help your gums recover fully.
Fillings are a fast and painless procedure with us. Dr. Gerald Regni, Jr. uses only tooth-colored fillings made of materials that are compatible with your biochemistry, as well as esthetic in appearance.
Extractions and Root Canals
Most extractions, including some routine removal of wisdom teeth, can be completed in our office. Dr. Gerald Regni, Jr. has perfected specialized techniques which make these procedures as pain-free as possible, including necessary root canals.
After having two painful root canals with another dentist, I wasn’t feeling real good about trying another dentist. Dr. Regni restored my faith in dentists. He did two root canals on me. I felt no pain at all; the crown he put in is beautiful. I also had gum scaling done by Megan. It went very well. Jackie in the office couldn’t have been more helpful to me. Overall it has been a great experience. This is coming from someone who was afraid of dentist. Thank you.!
